About me...
Hmmm, not really sure what to write about me... I mean, are you really that interested to know that I am happily married and a full-time mum to my lovely and very feisty (they get that from me) young twin-daughters?
Or that I love fairy-tales, fantasy and scifi? How I very much enjoy (probably a bit too much, seeing that I can quote most of their lines) Monty Python and Mel Brooks films. And that some people might say I'm a fantastic cook (who am I to disagree with them?).
I suppose I should also mention that I was born “some” years ago and very early on realised that I enjoy using my imagination to create things. Mainly designing, painting and doodling. But I’ve also had a go at writing silly short, short stories (they didn’t call it ‘flash fiction’ back then) and greetings for special occasions.
Today, between going to work, doing the daily school drop-offs and pick-ups, washing and cooking, I find the time to do what I am truly passionate about – creating new worlds in my stories for children of all ages, and I very much hope, that they will inspire and ignite the imagination of children much as my childhood books did for me.
As this is a new journey, which I am about to embark on, I do hope that (just like Eliot in the ‘Never Ending Story’), you will join me as you read my blog.
I would love to read any comments or thoughts from you via my ‘Comments’ link.
